School Uniform
Uniform is a statement of pride in the school, a statement of belonging and a personal commitment by the individual to the school. Our school uniform is designed to present a positive image of our school to both our local community in West Moors and beyond. Parents can purchase items from the recommended school suppliers and standard items can be bought from local supermarkets.
The school uniform must be worn at the following times:
• Coming to school and going home from school
• During lesson
• All students must ensure that uniform is correct and smart when leaving registration periods and between all lessons with shirts tucked in.
• All uniform and sports kit must be labelled clearly, as this will be checked in lessons during the first six weeks of term.

Green West Moors Middle School blazer with the embroidered school crest. This will be the only blazer available for all children from Stevensons.
Shirt - White School Shirt – Boys: this can be long or short sleeved, with a formal collar and top button. This should be worn with the school tie in a traditional way, with top shirt button fastened. It should be long enough to reach the navel. Girls: this can be long or short sleeved with a revere collar. Boys/ Girls: Shirts must be worn tucked in at all times.

Jumper - Bottle Green West Moors Middle School “V” necked jumper with the logo. Not compulsory. The jumper can be worn under the blazer but not in place of a blazer and is available from Stevensons.
Grey school trousers (unisex), supplied by Stevensons or local supermarkets. These trousers are available in different fittings to better suit each child.
Socks Grey plain socks are to be worn with trousers.

The West Moors Middle School Bottle Green Tartan Plaid School Skirt - Skirts should be knee length and must not be rolled up. These are available from Stevensons.
Socks / Tights – Bottle green socks (ankle or knee length), or bottle green tights. Tights should not have any type of pattern on them.

If your child is eligible for free uniform please contact the school office for a voucher to redeem with them.
Message from Stevensons uniform supplier
Following the government announcement on Saturday, we need to inform you that unfortunately Stevensons branches are closed with immediate effect until further notice. Parents are still able to place their orders online for home delivery during this period and their Customer Services Team are still on hand to answer any queries they may have.
